Banana Bread
Moist, tender banana bread with a golden crust.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Mix mashed bananas and melted butter in a bowl.
- Stir in sugar, egg, and vanilla.
- Add baking soda, salt, and flour. Mix until just combined.
- Grease the pot and pour in the batter.
- Bake at 325°F for 50–60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pot.
Notes
Add 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped walnuts if you like.
