Steamed Dumplings
Juicy, tender dumplings from frozen in minutes.
Ingredients
- 12–16 frozen dumplings (potstickers or gyoza)
- 1 cup water
- Soy sauce, rice vinegar, and chili oil for dipping
Instructions
- Add 1 cup of water to the pot and place the steam rack or basket inside.
- Line the rack with parchment paper or cabbage leaves to prevent sticking.
- Arrange dumplings in a single layer, leaving space between each.
- Close the lid and steam for 8–10 minutes.
- Serve with soy sauce, rice vinegar, and chili oil for dipping.
Notes
Don't thaw the dumplings; cook them straight from frozen for the best texture. You may need to work in batches if your basket is small.
