Sous Vide Chicken Breast
Impossibly juicy chicken breast cooked to the perfect temperature.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
Instructions
- Season chicken with oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Seal in bags with herbs if using.
- Fill the pot with water. Set to sous vide at 150°F for 1-2 hours.
- Remove chicken and pat dry.
- Slice and serve, or sear briefly on sauté for color.
Notes
The chicken stays juicy even at 150°F because of the long, gentle cook. Great sliced over salads, in sandwiches, or alongside any grain.
