Scrambled Eggs
Soft, creamy scrambled eggs made right in the pot.
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp milk (or cream for richer eggs)
- Salt and pepper
- Chives for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Set pot to sauté on low heat. Melt butter.
- Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.
- Pour egg mixture into the pot.
- Stir gently with a spatula, pushing eggs from the edges toward the center as they set.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring often, until eggs are just barely set.
- Turn off the pot immediately and serve topped with chives.
Notes
Remove the eggs while they still look slightly underdone; remaining heat will finish them. For mixins like cheese, spinach, or herbs, fold in during the last 30 seconds.
