Pancakes
Fluffy pancakes made one at a time on the sauté setting.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp melted butter, plus more for the pot
- Maple syrup and butter for serving
Instructions
- Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk egg, milk, and melted butter.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry and stir until just combined.
- Set pot to sauté on low heat. Add small pat of butter.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter into the center of the pot.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface and edges look set, about 2–3 minutes. Flip and cook another 1–2 minutes.
- Repeat with remaining batter. Serve with maple syrup and butter.
Notes
The pot's flat bottom runs hot, and pancakes burn easily on high.
