Mashed Potatoes

Creamy, buttery mashed potatoes in a fraction of the usual time.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Place potatoes and water in the pot.
  2. Pressure cook on high for 8 minutes.
  3. Quick release.
  4. Drain most of the water, leaving a couple tablespoons in the pot.
  5. Add butter and mash to your desired texture.
  6. Stir in warm milk or cream. Season with salt and pepper.

Notes

Yukon Golds make the creamiest mash, but russets work too; they'll just be a bit more fluffy. Add roasted garlic or sour cream for extra flavor.
