I use plant-based wings (like Quorn) as a vegetarian substitute following the same recipe.

  1. Toss wings with baking powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Arrange wings in the basket in a single layer. Work in batches if needed.
  3. Air fry at 400°F for 22–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. Toss in your favorite sauce and serve immediately.

Notes

The baking powder is the secret to crispy skin without deep frying. Make sure the wings are patted very dry before seasoning.
