Crispy Chicken Wings
Crispy, juicy wings with no deep fryer needed.
I use plant-based wings (like Quorn) as a vegetarian substitute following the same recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings, patted dry
- 1 tbsp baking powder (not baking soda)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Your favorite wing sauce
Instructions
- Toss wings with baking powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange wings in the basket in a single layer. Work in batches if needed.
- Air fry at 400°F for 22–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Toss in your favorite sauce and serve immediately.
Notes
The baking powder is the secret to crispy skin without deep frying. Make sure the wings are patted very dry before seasoning.
